16. Neurodivergent Social Work Voices Campaign: Belle

In today’s conversation, I am talking with Belle, a Dyslexic social work apprentice who is working with adults. Belle explores the challenges of acronyms in social work, especially through a Dyslexic lens. Belle shares how she sees her brain as a sparkly rainbow as she is especially visual in her thinking and has always seen this as positively different compared to others. However, Belle shares that she can find learning things that are not ‘logical’ (from her perspective) can be difficult for her, however, it helps her spot patterns and problem-solve in her social work practice.
